About the Event
At the root of our anatomy sits the Psoas (pronounced: SO as) Muscle. This special muscle joins our top half to our bottom half. It quite literally keeps us connected and is often referred to as the 'muscle of the soul'.
The Psoas plays a huge physical role in our bodies, and many times we can trace our ailment's origin back to this muscle. It's in charge of the body's natural "fight or flight" reactions. So, its not surprising that over time it adopts the emotional pain our body experiences.
Jessy Raspiller will guide us through a slow methodical class, for All Levels. This class would be great for everyone but especially for the following body awareness:
- Back pain
- Tight hips
- Tight/Sore hamstring
- Core weakness
- Knee pain
- Recently experienced trauma (ie; Thomas Fire)
This workshop will dive into education about this muscle, specific ways to "tap" into and help release some of the build up pain we store.
Join me at Soul Infusion: 1995 E. Main St. Suite B, Ventura, CA on Februrary 24th from 11:00- 1:00pm.
Wear comfortable clothing; bring a yoga mat and a journal. This will be primarily a movement based practice marinated in education and knowledge that you can take with you to continue to heal from the inside out.
